Chairman’s Letter

On behalf of our staff and the volunteers of the Facial Pain Association, I’d like to wish you a happy holiday. It’s tough being a member of our community. None of us signed up for neuropathic facial pain. But here we are. We just need to make the best of it and continue to work towards being pain-free or at least being able to manage the pain. I’m hoping that the FPA is helping you make a difficult situation better. And we have plans to become even more valuable to you in the future.

As we start a new year, remember that the FPA is here with information, guidance, support, and a large community for each of us to rely on. None of us are alone. And if you start going down the road of feeling alone and discouraged, contact us. You can speak with a member of our staff; get connected to a Peer Mentor; find a relevant support group, or all of this, or something else altogether. We are here for you.

Here’s to a much better 2022 for all of us.

Sincerely,

David Meyers

FPA Board Chirman
