A Mindfulness Based Approach for Coping with Chronic Pain

Jonathan Greenberg, Research Staff Psychologist, Harvard Brain Integrative Health Clinic and Research Program will explain what mindfulness is and how it is used in therapeutic and other settings. He will review some of the research on the benefits of mindfulness in general and specifically how mindfulness and mind-body practice can benefit patients facing chronic pain. He will also include a brief experimental practice, and some tips on how to get more involved with practicing for those interested.
