The FPA earns GuideStar by Candid’s highest level of recognition, the Platinum Seal of Transparency

GuideStar is the world’s largest source of information on nonprofit organizations. It gathers and provides access to the most comprehensive, up-to-date, and accurate nonprofit information available. GuideStar’s mission is to revolutionize philanthropy by providing information that advances transparency, enables users to make better decisions, and encourages charitable giving.

The Facial Pain Association has earned the preceding seals – Bronze, Silver, and Gold to achieve this recognition.

“We are very pleased to have earned GuideStar’s Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest level of recognition offered by the world’s largest source of nonprofit information. Less than 5% of the nonprofits in the U.S. have achieved this recognition. It reflects that our donors and other important stakeholders can clearly see our goals, achievements helping our community, financial controls, responsible governance, and more. We take great care with the donations we receive to help make the world a better place for those with trigeminal neuralgia and other types of facial pain, and now it should be clear to everyone.”

– David Meyers, FPA Board Chair
